BANJARA SHRUG

I am SO disappointed that I wasted so much money on this INCORRECT item! I loved this shrug for so long, I finally saved some money and ordered when they had a small discount. I was so excited to get it, planning on wearing it for my post-wedding brunch. I am in the US so had it shipped to a place in India, then shipped it to myself - this cost about $40USD. So it’s a lot of money and risk if it isn’t right. I told them about this and asked them to make size 46 - they assured me they could customize the size to fit me. I usually wear sz 44 but I wanted to be sure this would fit and wanted it to cover more than the pics, so I ordered a larger size. I told her to PLEASE check the size and send me pics before mailing, as I’m in the US so I’m paying a lot to ship it to myself and can’t send it back if it’s wrong. She did not send pics, when I asked a few days later she said it was already sent.

When it came it was gorgeous but I was SO disappointed to see it was labeled sz 42, and when I tried it on it didn’t even cover the sides of my chest, it looked utterly ridiculous - like I was wearing something 4-5 sizes too small.

I thought this was a reliable kind vendor, but they were anything but helpful. I wish I could upload more pics so you could see the full convo. But first the seller was apologetic, saying omg some mixup must have happened in packing. Then she starts asking for measurements - I send them. It only measures 17” across the front!!! Not 23” like I ordered. Seller continues to gaslight me saying it fit perfectly, this is how it’s supposed to fit, there’s margin etc. She says return it, and I explain again that I’m in the US, I’m happy to return if she will pay for the shipping. She says no. Said to return it when I come to India, ok cool. Says she can only send it in India. That means I’m out another $40 to send it to me, this sucks but I give up, I ask her to ship it to the same India address.

A few weeks later ask when she is going to send it, she said it isn’t ready yet. I ask when it will be ready, no response. Over the next 6 weeks I continue to ask when it will be ready and get NO RESPONSE. Finally I said I need a response in 24 hours or I will take action - that finally gets me a response. Unfortunately it’s another gaslighting crappy argument, this time saying read the return policy, it’s perfect etc. I don’t understand how the return policy applies when you sent me THE WRONG THING. She keeps telling me to send it back but is refusing to pay for it. Why should I be out all this extra money when it wasn’t my mistake??? I could not take it anymore so eventually blocked her and will be pursuing legal action. I can’t believe you’re selling such expensive things and can’t even be bothered to care about the customer enough to send the correct item!!
